The owner, Alexandre, met us at the apartment when we arrived in Paris, and spent almost 2 hours with us. We had a lot of questions regarding the appliances, especially the washer/dryer combo. He found the instruction guide, and went through it with us - very helpful, since it's in French! The apartment was clean and well stocked with cooking supplies (pots, pans, utensils), dishware, glasses...even some seasonings, boxes of tea, and other items that previous tenants had left behind. Alexandre was patient and friendly, and my husband and I were very impressed. The apartment is on the 5th floor with no elevator, which we knew, and we're getting used to climbing all those stairs (90 in all, and circular.) We have a beutiful view of the Eiffel Tower from the living room - if you lean out the window a bit and look to the left!
